In Ecclesiastes 1:9 KJV the son of David who is identified as a preacher assumed to be Solomon shares his wisdom and awareness that “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”
We all live in a pattern. *I believe that by monitoring my thoughts, *minding my conversation and company, *being clear in my speech determines my reality.
Scripture:
*Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 & be renewed in the spirit of your mind Ephesians 4:23.
*He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: But a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Proverbs 13:20
*But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.” Matthew 5:37
Open Thoughts:
Gods promises and word on who he said we are defines our identity, not our past and/or the legacy of family or lack of. What happens if we don't recognize things God never willed for our life but allowed? What happens if we never learn who he said we are? We never recognize who we are, our capacity will reflect falsely according to he who knew us before we were born.
Call to action
Make a habit to Identify what patterns (financial, emotional, social) I possess and I would encourage peers in the body of christ to do such as well. Once identified, determine who you aspire to be and learn what patterns are required and what patterns hinder.
Vocabulary Words:
Pattern- a regularity in the world, in human-made design, or in abstract ideas. As such, the elements of a pattern repeat in a predictable and logical manner. There exists countless kinds of unclassified patterns, present in everyday nature, fashion, many artistic areas, as well as a connection with mathematics.
Diligent- having or showing care and conscientiousness in one's work or duties.
Distraction- the process of diverting the attention of an individual or group from a desired area of focus and thereby blocking or diminishing the reception of desired information.
To Be- Exist
Reality- the world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them.
